Our wines are vintage specific, each vintage will run out of stock eventually, and a follow up vintage will be released. There may be slight variations in flavour due to differences in vintage conditions, but the wines will be similar in style and quality.

If you’re looking for a specific vintage that is out of stock, feel free to email support@millonwines.com.au or send a message through the Contact Us, and we will try to help where we can.

We aim to make our wines as inclusive and accessible to as many consumers as possible. Where it is practically possible, we try to make our wines vegan friendly, check the wine details or look for the vegan friendly icon on the back label to see if it is vegan friendly.

A very general guide for wine cellaring as below.

Fresh/ Aromatic Whites (Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio) - Drink Fresh, do not age

Fuller bodied/ Heavier Whites (Oaked Chardonnay, Viognier) - up to 10 years

Light Bodied Reds (Pinot Noir, Grenache) – 5 to 10 years

Medium Bodied Reds (Merlot, Tempranillo) – 7 – 15 years

Full Bodied Reds (Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon) – up to 30 years

The cellaring potential for the wines may differ depending on the variety, style, vintage, tannin structure, acidity, and a myriad of other factors.

Specific cellaring periods can be found in the tasting notes of each wine.

Stored wines in a cool to moderate location (around 21° C) with minimal temperature fluctuations

Store wines on its side (cork)

Avoid excess light, especially sunlight

Limit unnecessary movement

Make sure wines are sealed properly, and that no air is getting in the bottle

2 – 5 Days

Once the bottle has been opened, the wines will start to rapidly oxidate, even with the caps sealed. Generally, wines can last 2 to 5 days before it becomes overly oxidated to drink. When this happens, the wines will become slightly brown, and give off vinegary smells. Oxidated wines will be very unpalatable; however, it is safe to consume.

To ensure that you enjoy the wine the way our winemaker intended it, we recommend that the wines stay out for no more than 3 days.
