The Impressionist Riesling

The 2025 vintage was shaped by the second consecutive year of below-average winter and spring rainfall, resulting in ongoing drought conditions across Eden Valley. A severe frost event in September further challenged the season, disrupting flowering and leading to naturally lower yields. However, a warm and dry summer ripened the fruit early, prompting an accelerated harvest that was largely completed by late March. While yields were significantly down, the remaining fruit showed remarkable concentration and purity. The vintage may have been tough, but the wines are anything but, showcasing Eden Valley’s resilience and class in a challenging year.
