2023 The Impressionist Tempranillo

This 2023 Eden Valley Tempranillo was sourced from our Pewsey Vale vineyard, situated at 550 metres elevation. The fruit was gently destemmed—without crushing—and transferred directly into open-top fermenters. A cold soak at 10–15°C for three days preceded a natural rise in temperature to initiate fermentation. The wine spent eight days on skins with twice-daily pumpovers before being pressed to 100% seasoned French oak hogsheads for six months of maturation. No fining or filtration was applied.

The Eden Tempranillo is a lighter style of wine, leaning closer to a Pinot Noir than a Shiraz, with more elegant and delicate flavours. The 2023 Impressionist Tempranillo is beautifully lifted, complex and concentrated, yet balanced with stunning savoury flavours and a rich, textural mouthfeel
