Winemaking

The fruit for this wine has been is 100% destemmed and fermented for 18 to 21 days with a proportion of whole bunches included. It then underwent further aging in French oak barrels for 10 months to impart further flavour, balance and complexity.

A deep cherry-ruby

Aroma

An aromatic nose which speaks of pretty red and dark-red berry fruits, violetty purple floral characters and a fine savoury note of freshly crushed herbs.

Palate

The palate is fresh and splendidly pure, with a core of vibrant raspberry and red cherry fruits, all with balanced acidity and appropriate ripeness. Notes of beetroot, forest floor, pink pepper, savoury herbs and freshly tilled earth, finishing elegantly textural.
